Controversial Nigerian investigative journalist, Kemi Olunloyo, has officially resigned from #OurMumuDonDo movement following the recent controversy rocking the movement.
Recall that last week i reported about an audio recording which surfaced online in which Charly Boy owned up to Deji Adeyanju, to have collected money from the spokesperson of the Buhari Campaign Organization, Festus Keyamo, during the build up to the just concluded election, to do a diss song against Atiku. Charly Boy however came out in an interview with Roots TV and confirmed that he indeed collected money running into 9 digits from Keyamo to release the diss song against Atiku Abubakar and that Deji wanted a piece of the money, which his refusal apparently led to their feud. Keyamo came to discuss Deji’s matter, he heard my new song that I was working on where I was dissing Atiku. So when he heard the song, he was calculating what he can use the song for. I don’t care but if you want to use my work, you pay for it. Of course he paid for it and they paid heavy money, in eight to nine digits”, Charly Boy stated.
“Everybody wanted a part of that money including Deji”, he added. Remember that Deji announced his resignation from OurMumuDonDo group after his release from prison on March 1st, accusing Charly Boy of compromising on the values of the group. Kemi Olunloyo has followed in his footstep to also dump the movement. Taking to her Instagram page to officially announce her resignation from the Our Mumu Don Do group, Kemi Olunloyo shared an audio recording of herself clearly stating why she is leaving the movement ans wrote; “Kemi Olunloyo leaves #OurMumuDonDo
I feel like I’m the real mumu and will NEVER allow myself to be used like this again. Thank you Charly Boy for the opportunity to at least make a difference. The money from the same people we were fighting defeated our purpose. Kemi Olunloyo.” Watch video below; 0A Watch video below;
